As we come to the end of Mental Health Awareness Week, hopefully you have an opportunity to investigate empathy at a deeper level. As we have learned, empathy is all about the ability to put yourself in someone else's shoes and try to understand what they are experiencing from their perspective. If you believe you have a pretty good grasp on your empathy IQ, consider revisiting it from time to time. Like any skill in life, our empathy "muscle" should always be revisited, reviewed and fed.

If there is one takeaway from this week, I hope it is that there is always a way to show up empathetically. Whether it is sitting quietly with someone or actively listening, it all makes a difference. To recap, here's a round-up of the week:

Keep educating yourself, reflecting on your progress and making an effort to understand others. You won't regret it.

If you have any questions for feedback, as always feel free to connect through email (satuppada21@gmail.com) or social media (@satuppada on Instagram).

Thank you for joining Satuppada to celebrate empathy during years Mental Health Week.
